Tami has been a student of Yoga since 1998. She is a 200 Hour E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance) and graduate of Lahiri School of Yoga. Over 10 years, Tami has had the pleasure of learning and teaching a variety of yoga formats including; Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga, Gentle Hatha, Yin Yoga and Partner Yoga. She has taught classes, conducted retreats and offered workshops in several fitness clubs, yoga studios and wellness centers in Utah, Colorado and Georgia, where she currently resides and operates Yew Studio out of her home.
Tami is committed to helping individuals achieve radiant health, vitality and peace. She believes Yoga is one of the most accessible, effective methods to do this. Her focus in class is the breath and honoring the present moment, acknowledging that each time on the mat is a new experience.

Tami is also a licensed massage therapist. She enjoys blending different styles of massage and bodywork, customizing each session in order to achieve balance and health to soft tissues and to the entire nervous system. Tami studied at Georgia Massage School 2015, the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas in 2009 and recently had the honor and blessing of studying in Thailand with Master Kam Thye Chow and Michael Sitzer.  Thai bodywork holds a very special place in her heart. Incorporating the principles of Thai work into her life and teaching of Yoga feels completely natural and has greatly enhanced what she’s able to offer her family, students and private clients.
