CHILL HOMIE!

HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
When I stumbled upon this image, it evoked a good laugh. It's interesting how cliche phrases such as "let it go" can take on different meanings depending on our present state of mind. The phrase "let it go" means something very literal to me today, as I'm in the process of getting my house in order by simplifying and decluttering my closets and physical space. There are so many items that don't "spark joy" yet are within my possession with no particular reason. It's time for me to "let that shit go". Maybe the phrase is more figurative for you right now, such as letting a difficult emotion pass through you--a hurt, a regret, a heartache. In any case, letting go of what is no longer useful to us allows space for that which IS useful to be seen and recognized. A good nugget of wisdom, albeit a cliche! :)
